Clinical and Forensic Psychology Services
Each appointment is 50 mins in duration. The current fee is $180 per session.
Fees are payable at the time of consultation.
A Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) covers a range of mental health disorders such as alcohol use disorder, anxiety disorders, adjustment disorder, ADHD, bereavement disorder, bipolar disorder, conduct disorder, co-occurring anxiety and depression, depression, drug use disorder, eating disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic disorder, phobic disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, psychotic disorders, schizophrenia, sexual disorders, and sleep problems.
If you have a plan from your GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician, from May 2017 you will be required to pay a gap fee of $65 per session for up to 10 sessions.
Most private health funds cover Psychologist's fees, but the level of cover varies. It is advised that you check with your health fund about their eligibility requirements for clinical psychology rebates before making an appointment. You may also be required to provide the following information to make a claim:
- A referral from your GP to the Psychologist
- The Psychologist’s provider number
- An invoice from the Psychologist
The cost of court related reports will vary, depending on the purpose of the report, travel required and the duration of assessment sessions required to complete the report. Please email Sydney Clinical and Forensic Psychology Services with your queries.
Please note that cancellations made within 24-48 hours of your session attract the full session fee.
